Part-Time Accounts Payable Contractor

We are seeking a part‑time contractor to support our finance team with accounts payable and data entry tasks. This role is ideal for a college or graduate student looking for flexible part‑time work. The contractor will focus on invoice processing, vendor onboarding, and maintaining accurate records in Net Suite.

• Enter all invoices into Net Suite accurately and promptly.
• Split portfolio invoices as needed.
• Review new invoices and help determine the correct accounts for payment, following up with managers when unclear.
• Maintain updated organizational charts for invoice allocation.
• Enter new entities into Net Suite for proper billing setup.
• Support vendor onboarding by ensuring W9 forms and banking templates are collected before payments.
• Process check payments when required.
• Assist with minor discrepancies (e.g., proof of payment, credits, duplicate billing).
• Escalate complex or unclear discrepancies to supervisor.

• Assist with tracking schedules during busy periods.
• Support callbacks when required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Net Suite is a plus (training provided if needed).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Part‑time, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Remote or hybrid arrangement (depending on location/needs).
• Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
