• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer’s needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads; a robust advertising budget provides leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes, explaining how Orkin’s products and services can provide peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home; training provided.
• Make recommendations based on inspections, addressing questions and setting expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized; training provided.

• Competitive earnings from $60,000 to $100,000 per year and a company vehicle with gas card upon route assignment
• During the initial training period (first 90 days), compensation is set at $28.85 per hour. After licensure, transition to an exempt base salary plus commission

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No Experience Required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Wear PPE which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different weather conditions
