- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Adapt recipes for special dietary needs or preferences as required.
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
