Clinic Registered Nurse; Senior

Overview

The Clinic Registered Nurse (Senior) coordinates the operational activities of public health clinics, provides nursing services, and orients physicians, nurses, and other staff by providing administrative support to clinic operations. They may also assist in providing oversight, consultation, education, evaluation, and quality improvement assessment of trauma care. The Clinic Registered Nurse Senior supervises employees, such as, lower level medical personnel, peer counselors, clerical staff, and student interns.

• Coordinate the operational activities of public health clinics and provide nursing services, and orient physicians, nurses, and other staff by providing administrative support to clinic operations.
• Assist in providing oversight, consultation, education, evaluation, and quality improvement assessment of trauma care.
• Supervise employees, such as lower level medical personnel, peer counselors, clerical staff, and student interns.

• Experience:
  
  Three years of clinical nursing experience which included some responsibility for clinic operations and activities and overseeing the work of others.
• Education/Training:
  Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing or a nursing diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Special Requirements:
  Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the California State Board of Registered Nursing. Current Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Certificate. Driver's License Class
  
  C.
