Occupational Health Registered Nurse

Full-time, 3‑month contract opportunity with Yoh’s well‑established client located in Fairfield, CA. Job is to cover a leave of absence.

This clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees both in‑person and telephonically. You will be the only medical professional onsite, primarily providing first‑aid, basic walk‑in care (minor acute care such as colds, rashes, pink eye, etc.) and in case of an emergency.

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
• Preferred experience in:
  Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections or Family Medicine type setting
• Recent clinical experience and computer literate

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide wellness materials/information
• Medical surveillance exams (e.g., hearing conservation or vision exams)
• Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. and perform limited interpretation of tests
• Refer to higher level of care
• Respond to emergencies and provide emergency medical care for employees onsite

• Ability to start ASAP and work Monday – Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays 7:30 am to 4:00 pm until around April 29th
• Previous experience using Cority and MS Office products is a plus!
• BLS certified
• TB test or Quanti
  
  FERON gold from within the last year
• Must have proof of US Citizenship (e.g., valid US Passport or original US Birth Certificate) for security clearance/badging
