As a Panning Operator, you will be at the heart of how our candy looks, tastes, and performs. Ways you will make a difference

* Loading and unloading of coating pans as required.

* Accurate measurement and addition of flavors and/or colors into panning syrups, as directed by written instructions.

* Operate Redzone manufacturing software via tablets to record production data, complete required quality checks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

* Contribute to the production of intermediate flavor blends and other specific products, for use in confectionery, as directed by written instructions, usually in English.

* May involve the gathering, mixing, and packaging of specific materials involved in the production of confectionery product.

* May be assigned to calculate, compile, and report production volumes as assigned by the supervisor.

* Performs the safe operation of manual or powered pallet jack, also may be required to operate powered lift equipment including specialized (narrow aisle) equipment.

Inherent in each position is a general duty to maintain each respective work area in a safe and sanitary condition. The employee many be required to perform other such duties within the scope of their employment as may be assigned. Regular, predictable, full-time attendance is required as an essential function of this position. Wages, hours, and working conditions are outlined in a Collective Bargaining Agreement between Jelly Belly Candy Company and Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers & Grain millers International Union, AFL-CIO #125.

Overtime as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement is mandatory. An essential function of this job is a requirement to work all hours scheduled.

Experiences that will support your success

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience or nine months structured on the job training. Education equivalency is acceptable.
