Wellness Assistant

Paradise Valley Estates (76 acre, resort‑style senior living community) is seeking a Wellness Assistant to work under the Wellness Supervisor. This is a full‑time position, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Base pay: $22.00 /hr – $25.00 /hr, based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and delivery of person‑centered activity programs that meet resident needs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of programming and assist in program improvements.
• Report resident problems or changes in condition to the Wellness Coordinator or Assisted Living Manager.
• Contribute ideas to the Wellness program and bring them to the table.
• Conduct scheduled activities with enthusiasm and flair.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Communicate through appropriate channels.
• Handle difficult situations with good judgement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to be front‑facing with residents, team members, and leadership.
