Job Description
Works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. Performs general radiographic studies to established QA criteria. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned.
Core Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols.
- Assist and instruct patients prior and during examinations.
- Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Maintain patient safety and well-being during examinations.
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to use.
- Report equipment failures or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Report patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to QA policies.
- Produce images, burn CD, occasional film printing, organize paperwork and complete requisition data.
- Seek out during downtime, work in other areas of department throughout the day such as front desk duties, rooming patients, or assisting with other duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course. - Licensure:
California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required, ARRT required. Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required. - Experience:
New graduate eligible but prefer one year of experience in general radiology. - Skills:
Basic clerical and computer experience. - Interpersonal

Depends on shift assignment and department needs. Weekend and evening work required. - Compensation: $42 to $49 per hour based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
