Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Counselor position located in Fairfield, CA. The Counselor will provide direct services, including one-on-one counseling, group therapy facilitation, and crisis intervention, to support the mental health and well-being of clients. Additional responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, maintaining client documentation, and participating in team meetings and training sessions. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications
  • Experience in providing individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating personalized treatment plans
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
  • Experience with case management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Possess licensure or certification in counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Knowledge of mental health practices, therapeutic techniques, and client-centered approaches
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to serving individuals and communities
  • Experience in addiction counseling or working with individuals in recovery is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
