• Physical Therapist Assistant Associates degree from an accredited institution
• Current Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant licensure

Orthopedic Experience Preferred

Strong customer relations experience required. Team player willing to assist in meeting organizational goals. Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach to others. High level of professionalism and confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA standards. Exemplary critical thinking skills and problem‑solving skills required; ability to work independently as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.

Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides skilled physical therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric. A qualified candidate must possess acute orthopedic inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation experience and be able to treat across multiple facets from home health, skilled/long term care, acute care and out-patient. The candidate must utilize effective and professional communication skills and thorough documentation and be able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on strong critical thinking is a must to provide optimal patient centered care.

This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $2,500 at the time of hire and $2,500 after one year of employment.
