About the roleWe have multiple Grade 2 Social Worker positions available at Thomas Embling Hospital
, a high-security forensic mental health facility in Fairfield. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality social work services, advocating for consumer and family rights, and supporting recovery and community transition.
- Provide ethical and effective social work services in a forensic mental health setting
- Support consumers and families with psychosocial needs and legal literacy
- Contribute to service development and maintain resources for the social work team
- Address complex issues including community transition and service access
- Approved Social Work degree (eligible for Australian Association of Social Workers membership)
- Experience in forensic mental health or related field
- Strong understanding of risk reduction and recovery principles
- Interest in areas such as substance use recovery, family therapy, or forensic rehabilitation
- Influenza and Immunisation Evidence
- This position is subject to a Police Check
- Salary packaging up to $9,010 + $2,650 meal allowance per year
