Have you ever wondered what it would be like to volunteer your time working with a progressive law enforcement agency in Solano County? The Solano County Sheriff's Office is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for people interested in volunteering their valuable time supporting operations in our office. In keeping with community partnerships, we are opening our doors to the "Sheriff's Active Volunteer Experience."
This dynamic group of volunteers will be utilized throughout the Sheriff's Office to assist our staff with a wide variety of jobs and assignments. Areas you may be assigned to include, but are not limited to, Patrol Division (Volunteer Citizen Patrol) Investigations Bureau, Administrative Services, Property and , Records and Warrants, Animal Services, Office of Emergency Services, and Public Relations.
There will be plenty of room for flexibility in the hours that you volunteer to work; however, we do require that you volunteer at least 16 hours every month.
