Two Six Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Active TS/SCI with Polygraph to support our customer's mission-essential applications within an Agile Team. The software developer will be responsible for the development, deployment, and support of Python web-based applications hosted on cloud computing platforms.

Location:

Chantilly, VA

• Develop, test, and deploy new code and efficient software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality and reusable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application, including performance optimization and error handling
• Work on a Greenfield project to modernize and reimagine, rather than merely recreate a legacy system.

• Minimum of 9 years of software development experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Minimum 3 year of experience developing on Linux operating systems.

• Developed software that leveraged AWS services, such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, Open Search, etc.
• Written and deployed AWS Lambda functions
• Understanding of AWS networking and security groups
• Working of CI/CD tool chains
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECR

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range $200,000 — $240,000 USD
