Position: Electronics Technician 4 (M) - 100% Travel with Security Clearance

We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electronic security systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
  • Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
  • Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
  • Install and maintain equipment at both local and global levels per design packages.
  • Program and install head-end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and/or hardware at local and global levels.
  • Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
  • Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; perform take-offs from project drawings; create and maintain documentation and project progress.
  • Document and track RFIs; design assist and provide feedback.
  • Communicate project and team member issues/concerns to management.
  • Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
  • Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates.
  • Guide and mentor technicians.
Qualifications
  • Clearance/Citizenship:
    Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
  • Key Requirements:

    Valid driver’s license; position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle; acceptable driving record according to policy.
  • Travel: 100% travel is required.
  • Education:

    HS diploma or GED;
    Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
  • Required Progressive

    Experience:

    8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs; 3 years of the above experience focused on electronic security systems; strong oral, written and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams; strong time management and organization skills; MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
  • Travel capability:
    Must be able to travel up to 50%.
  • Desired / Advantageous

    Qualifications:

    Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch products, Windows OS certifications) and experience in installation of said systems.
