Security Officer

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards, and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to deter unwanted activity, identify unusual conditions, and report concerns per post orders;
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction and/or way finding, and support access control procedures such as checking identification when required by site policy;
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations promptly to supervision and/or site contacts
