This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to cover the site, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver customer service aligned with Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, assessing conditions, and communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, documenting entries and exits, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.

+ Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and use radios, phones, and/or computer systems to relay information and coordinate with site contacts.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
