Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local first responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in processes, and monitoring entrances and restricted areas according to site requirements;
Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and post orders, and complete incident reports and activity logs as required
