As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security‑related incidents and promoting a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help prevent unwanted activity, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using de‑escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location, including building interiors and perimeters, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain visibility as a security‑related presence and observe for suspicious activity or persons within the assigned government facility.
• Document incidents and complete detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Follow all weapons handling procedures in accordance with company and client standards.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry points.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
