** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal and site management as required.

+ Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions, information, and security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to prevent unauthorized entry.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
