Role Summary

The Associate Territory Manager for Cardiometabolic Health drives account-based selling to health care providers who influence treatment in Lilly's portfolio. Located in Fairfax, VA (CMH2 territory), you will serve as a credible expert and primary resource supporting medicines and patient care across multiple HCP specialties and key hospital accounts. You will execute Lilly’s selling, competency, and account-management models to grow the business, build strategic relationships, and drive appropriate utilization of Lilly medicines.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes the full portfolio of priority products with multiple HCP specialties.
  • Understands the marketplace within the territory; evaluates and tailors the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes.
  • Navigates the ever-changing healthcare environment and payer landscape to increase understanding of accounts and become trusted partners.
  • Utilizes appropriate business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and potential obstacles.
  • Implements and adopts new technologies, including the integration of AI company-approved tools and other analytical capabilities to streamline customer interactions.
  • Identifies and advocates for new opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Models a growth mindset to create positive experiences.
  • Embraces and uses the company’s selling, competency and account management models to elevate performance and drive results.
  • Demonstrates high learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace, clinical trials, and product label.
  • Promotes the BU portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers.
  • Promotes across BU-portfolio and across HCP specialties, driving consistent ways of working within the Regional Health Care Market; fully utilizes the Virtual Medical Hub.
  • Achieves targeted sales and execution metrics while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Owns the customer relationship for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and general market access.
  • Holds self-accountable for results and performance across all accounts, from individual HCPs to large health systems.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and create collaborative success.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required: Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by state.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
Skills
  • Preferred: Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
  • Preferred: Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
  • Preferred: Strong learning agility, self-motivated, team-focused, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Preferred: Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs.
  • Preferred: Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
