Position: Account Executive / Capture Manager - Federal Civilian

Account Executive / Capture Manager - Federal Civilian – Chainbridge Solutions

Location:

Fairfax, VA (DC Metro area; primary work at customer sites or headquarters)

Join the growing team. The Account Executive (also referred to as a Capture Manager and Business Development Lead) will be part of the sales organization, embedded as a badged individual working closely with Federal Civilian project delivery teams to establish and expand relationships with existing and future federal civilian sector customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationships: Establishing trusted relationships with customers is crucial for delivering mission value and achieving company growth.
  • Account Management: Managing the Federal Civilian accounts in collaboration with project managers and operations leadership, including establishing account growth strategy and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Capture Management: Leading the capture of identified and developed opportunities within Federal Civilian sectors, working closely with business development leadership and proposal management to apply customer pain points, develop win themes, and contribute to proposals.
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Public Trust or Secret clearance is highly preferred but must be eligible to obtain.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a federal employee or Gov Con professional managing Federal Civilian programs, including hands‑on procurement experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years business development experience in the Federal Civilian sectors.
  • Leadership skills and business acumen to strengthen Chainbridge Solutions’ brand and culture.
  • Preparing, presenting, and executing new business and account growth plans.
  • Leading and participating in account management activities (qualification, capture, bid, transition).
  • Conducting gap analysis between customer needs and current offerings.
  • Envisioning interfaces and interdependencies across programs and capture activities at a business unit level.
  • Maintaining contact with customer leadership in acquisition, program requirements development, and mission organizations.
  • Knowledge of buying patterns, preferred contract vehicles, price constraints, and other criteria relevant to the Federal Civilian sectors.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Frequently remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods at computer.
  • Continuous verbal and written communication with others to exchange information.
  • Continuous repetitive movements, including wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Continuous understanding of direction and adherence to established procedures.
  • Continuous ability to gather and classify information.
  • Continuous use of reasoning and decision‑making logic to analyze, interpret, and prioritize information.
