Welcome customers,maintainproductknowledgeandhelpwiththeselection of merchandise. React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance.
Sell merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service, which may require demonstration and/or explanationoftechnicalfeaturesofitemssold.
Takeperiodicstockcountsandmayparticipateintaking inventories.
Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat and presentable condition. Advise supervisor/department head of customer requests.
Receives cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards and gift cards in payment for merchandise and gives changeaccuratelyintheoperationofcashregister.
Maintainsrecordofsales,attheendofshiftbalances till, turns in sales records, money, stamps, customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all monies and items sold
Mayperformpricechanges forvariousdepartments,eithermarkdownsormarkups,andthesettingof company promotions.
Primary duty is ensuring that these are properly displayed to the customer accomplished by proper display and signage as well as chancing of item labels if necessary.
Followallpoliciesregarding Loss Prevention .Beawareandproactiveregardingshrinkandthe Alert Line.
Followallestablishedsafetystandardsandemergencypreparednessrequirements. Will be required to work weekends.
Performotherrelateddutiesasassigned.
Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours a week
Qualifications Required- Potentialtostockmerchandise,assistpatronsandoperateacashregisterwhichisshownbythe ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature; as well as count, subtract, multiply, anddivideforstockingand inventory purposes asevidencedbyhighschoolcoursework,aGED or high school diploma.
