RECEIVER (FULL TIME) – Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services

Location: George Mason University, 4511 Patriot Circle, Fairfax, VA 22030

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm (details provided during interview)
• Requirement: Prior experience preferred
• Pay Range: $19.00 – $20.60 per hour, online applications accepted only

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front‑of‑house set‑up.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Because this position requires performance in an educational facility, there may be periods when the company does not require work (e.g., winter/summer breaks). Any such periods may be unpaid and considered temporary layoff. Work may be required year‑round or at different locations depending on business needs.
