Bartender – 703 Bar+ Kitchen Restaurant
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, personable Bartender to work at our bar‑plus‑kitchen establishment. Candidates need to be eager to learn, share a love for food, and create memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities- Maintain proper bar set‑up daily, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily projections.
- Handle the cutting, storing, and management of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to guarantee quality.
- Greet guests courteously, take orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion‑control guidelines.
- Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations concerning alcoholic beverage service.
- Enter orders into the point‑of‑sale register and create checks for all guests, ensuring accurate accountability for all served beverages.
- Process cash, make change, verify charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers to balance all monetary transactions.
- Lock up and store all beverage, food, and equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
- Adhere to attendance rules and remain available for regular work across shifts.
- Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Fluent English communication; self‑starting, even disposition.
- Professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Ability to pitch‑in and support co‑workers as a team player.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
- Fundamental math skills for operating a cash register, making change, totaling checks, and tracking portions.
- Manual dexterity for garnishing, handling glassware, scooping ice, mixing drinks, and reaching overhead to retrieve stock.
- Skill to remember, recite, and promote an array of menu items.
- Keyboard proficiency and awareness of key‑of‑sale procedures for order pre‑check and check closure.
- Stance to stand for long periods in a confined space.
- Capability to build effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Guests are pivotal to our success; maintain professionalism, courtesy, and respect toward all guests and associates to deliver positive interactions across all shifts.
