Pet Care Specialists in the Annandale, Dunn Loring, Fairfax, Oakton, Vienna, Herndon, Reston, Great Falls, Ashburn, and Sterling areas to provide top-notch care for pets of all kinds. No experience? No problem—we provide full training!

- Drive to clients’ homes to care for a variety of pets (dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, etc.)
- Provide feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, and medications as instructed
- Use an app to check in and out at visits, access client and pet information, and upload detailed journal entries
- Ensure safety at all times—yours and the pets’
- Follow detailed care instructions and keep client information confidential
- At least 18 years old & eligible to work in the U.S.
- Your own reliable and insured vehicle + smartphone
- Strong written and verbal communication, detail oriented, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and provide excellent customer service
- This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed. These hours are subject to change at any time depending on business needs.
This role involves driving between clients’ homes and spending time outdoors in all weather conditions. While providing care to a variety of animals, you may be required to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. You must be able to lift/move at least 25 pounds.

While providing care to a variety of animals, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, utilize taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move, pull, or push a minimum of 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
