Looking to take the next step in your veterinary career within a genuinely supportive, privately owned practice?
I’m partnering with a long-established small animal hospital in Fairfax, Virginia that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to their close-knit team. This is a thoughtfully run, community-focused practice that prides itself on high clinical standards, teamwork, and creating an environment where veterinarians can truly enjoy coming to work.
The hospital operates from a modern, well-designed facility with a practical layout that supports efficient workflows. You’ll have access to full in-house diagnostics, a well-stocked on-site pharmacy, and dedicated surgical and treatment areas. The team places a strong emphasis on low-stress handling and has recently achieved Fear Free certification, reinforcing their commitment to patient wellbeing and client experience.
One of the real standouts here is the support. You’ll be working alongside an experienced group of doctors, licensed veterinary technicians, and a large team of veterinary assistants, creating an excellent support ratio both in consults and surgery. Staff retention is high, the culture is low-drama and collaborative, and mentorship is available for those who want to continue developing their skills and confidence.
This role would suit a veterinarian looking for stability, growth, and a hospital they can genuinely call home.
