Registered Nurse; RN Clinical Supervisor Interventional Radiology

Overview

Inova Health is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator (Supervisor) for our Fairfax Medical Campus. Schedule is 4x10 shifts Monday–Friday with overnight, weekend and holiday on-call shifts required.

• Provides a safe and therapeutic environment by collaborating with the Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and other relevant providers
• Provides supervision, direction and guidance to cross-functional team members regarding case management, workflow and serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor

The Interventional Radiology department serves over 5,000 patients each year, both inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric, from every patient care-oriented service line on the campus. Our multi-disciplinary team provides patient care across multiple modalities including Body IR, Peripheral Vascular, Neuro Interventional, and Aortic Endovascular.

• Thrombectomy stroke care
• Endovascular aortic repair
• Peripheral vascular disease
• Interventional oncology
• Interventional pulmonology

• Minimum: Five (5) years of experience as Registered Nurse working in a critical care hospital unit or interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab; or five years of interventional radiology experience
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (American Heart Association) and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and, if applicable, RCES, RTRCV, RTRVI, RTRCI unless a graduate of an accredited school of nursing required at start

• Prior experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or interventional radiology experience
