Overview
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is currently hiring experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to support our patients.
Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign-on & relocation bonuses.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, day shift:
Three 12-hour shifts per week. Schedule breakdown: 12-hour shifts (6:45am to 7:15pm) with variable days off and on-call requirements (Night, Weekend & Holiday). Scrub and circulating experience preferred.

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities- Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships.
- Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends to achieve best practice.
- Supports and empowers patients and families as they progress through the healthcare continuum from health promotion to end of life decisions.
- Advocates for patients rights from the patient/family perspective and provides counsel to resolve issues.
- Anticipates ethical, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients/families and assists staff in assessing patients learning needs.
- Experience:
Requires a minimum of 1 year of direct OR experience as a Registered Nurse. - Education:
BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. - License:
Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. - Certification:
Basic Life Support with American Heart Association.
