Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Endocrinology (Springfield)
Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our Endocrinology team at the Springfield outpatient clinic. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment focused on delivering exceptional care to Northern Virginia.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal and pituitary conditions. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled physicians and other APPs to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑focused care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, including comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage endocrine conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the endocrine program.
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board certified or board eligible as a PA or NP.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a PA/NP in Virginia.
- Full‑time position, Monday–Friday.
- Prior experience in endocrinology or internal medicine (preferred but not required).
- New graduates with a passion for endocrinology are encouraged to apply.
