Registered Nurse Orthopedics

PSV is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Orthopedic Registered Nurse or LPN to join our busy clinic. Under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons and physicians, the RN will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to pediatric patients in our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic at our Fairfax, VA location. The position is full time, working M-F 8:30AM to 5:00pm (bilingual Spanish Preferred).

Job Description
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations, diagnostics, and in-office treatment plans
  • Excels in organizational skills, adjusts for changes and is able to complete assignments on time
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions
  • Triage patients and prioritize care in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Accurately document patient progress and maintain medical records
  • Coordinate care between providers, departments, and external services
  • Maintain strong communication with surgeons and clinical staff
  • LPN will work under the supervision of an RN
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Active VA RN/LPN license
  • All employees must pass an employment TB, drug and physical exam
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in Virginia dependent upon location of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current BLS certificate
Desired Qualifications
  • BSN (preferred)
  • Prior Orthopedic experience:
    Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Bilingual-Spanish Preferred
