Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee hospital and medical facility construction projects in Fairfax, Virginia. The role requires regular on‑site presence and strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for hospital and medical construction projects
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost‑effective solutions
• Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment requests
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare industry standards
• Conduct quality inspections to maintain high construction standards
• Address any deviations from project specifications promptly
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members, hospital staff, and external partners

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing construction projects in healthcare settings
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices
