This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Manager located in Fairfax, VA. The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of property maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency and safety for a high standard of residential satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling maintenance tasks, managing preventive and routine maintenance, addressing repair requests promptly, ensuring equipment is operational, and implementing effective maintenance strategies.
The role requires collaboration with the management team to support operational goals and maintain compliance with company standards.
- Proficiency in Maintenance Management, including planning and executing maintenance programs and ensuring property and equipment standards are met.
- Strong background in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of property assets.
- Expertise in Maintenance & Repair tasks, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions for residents.
- Proven Supervisory Skills, including the ability to manage maintenance teams effectively, schedule tasks, and provide direction and mentorship.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations is beneficial.
- Experience in the property management industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certifications are a plus.
