Outside Continental US. CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates that speak both Russian and Kazak or Russian and Uzbek, as Speakers, Translators, and Interpreters to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.

This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven roles. You will translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including but not limited to: technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English. You will work either lead or be part of a team of linguists supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations.

• Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that contain facts and some abstract language, showing the ability to capture intended implications and nuances.
• Generally capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text. Word choice and expression adhere to target language norms and are suited to subject field(s).

• Interpret accurately. Typically, consecutive interpretation is needed, but simultaneous interpretation (English to Russian, Kazak to English, etc.) may be requested on occasions.
• Have a good understanding of one or more regional dialects.

• Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with a high degree of accuracy and expression.
• Possess excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports.
• Have a good understanding of one or more regional dialects.

• Ability to pass an advanced English test
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
• Bachelors Degree
• Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
• Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
• In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
• Master use of MS Office and internet research

• Previous military experience
• Good understanding of one or more regional dialects
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including geographic location, contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $86,600 - $181,800.
