Job Description

ECS is seeking a BI Reporting Developer I to work remotely .

ECS Federal is seeking a skilled BI Reporting Developer I - to join the Business Systems team. This role requires the candidate to design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud), Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools, with a solid foundation in data modeling and analytical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, OAC or equivalent tools
• Create and optimize data models including fact tables, dimension tables, and relationships
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Build and maintain Data Visualizations (DV) workbooks and classic analyses
• Develop and maintain DAX measures, calculated columns, and custom visualizations (Power BI)
• Implement drill-down, drill-through, and linked analysis functionality
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data integration workflows
• Connect to various data sources (Oracle Database, ADW, data lakes, REST APIs, flat files)
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract and transform data
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports
• Document reporting solutions, data models, and business logic
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of reports and datasets

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

• Understanding of row-level security (RLS) implementation
• Understanding of federal financial management requirements
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance
• Knowledge of government accounting standards
• Familiarity with contract management processes
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
