Job Description:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Security+ CE certification (required)
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
Strong administration experience with:
Tenable Nessus
Tenable Security Center
Tenable Agents
Qualys Platform
Qualys VMDR
Qualys CAR
Qualys Policy Assessment (PA)
Splunk (SIEM)
Solid understanding of:
Vulnerability scanning methodologies and CVSS scoring
Risk-based vulnerability management
Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls)
SIEM operations, alerting, and dashboard creation
Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Network Security.
Scripting experience (Power Shell, Python, Bash) for automation.
Strong written and verbal skills
The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
