Meaningful Work and Personal ImpactAs an Intermediate Python Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Security Cooperation Application Development, Sustainment, and Support (SCDASS) services for the Enterprise Application Development and Support Division (EADSD) within Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Information Management and Technology (IM&T) Directorate.
Responsibilities- Lead/Manage/Support maintenance, enhancement and modernization of complex DoD applications.
- Collaborate with multi‑site team to identify, resolve and test solutions to issues with Production system.

EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field will be considered.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Python.
- 7+ years of object‑oriented development experience.
- 3+ years of MS SQL and T‑SQL experience.
- Experience with agile/Scrum software development environment.
- SECRET security clearance.
- US citizenship required.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- AWS Cloud environments.
- DoD system development experience.
- Security+ certification.

CompensationThe likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
