CGI, a global IT services company, is seeking a Linux System Administrator to support our federal program for the DHS CDM DEFEND initiative. The role focuses on designing and implementing cloud architecture blueprints, configuring build plans, and developing reusable automated solutions.

• AWS Administration: 3‑4 years of experience with services such as API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and Cloud Trail.
• Scripting and Automation:
  Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and related automation tools.
• CI/CD Pipelines:
  Experience managing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting:
  Strong ability to troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Security and Compliance:
  Familiarity with STIGs and applying them to cloud images.
• Directory Services:
  Experience with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Cryptography:
  Knowledge of PKI infrastructure and cryptographic certificates.
• Patch Management:
  Experience with patch management systems such as WSUS.
• Service Configuration:
  Minimum of 3 years configuring and maintaining services such as SFTP, SMTP, and NTP.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.
• 5‑7 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• Proficiency in Linux system troubleshooting.
• Experience with patch management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, RHCE) are a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
