Insight Xcite is looking for talented developers who can help us expand our Service Now practice. We have multiple Software Developer positions to fill supporting fully funded projects onsite with a client in Northern Virginia area. The successful candidate will help implement new features for complex, mission-critical, enterprise applications that bring data and features together with innovative user experiences. Responsibilities:

* Design and develop Service Now solutions to meet Sponsor mission requirements

* Maintain a good understanding of the customer's Service Now business needs

* Create and manage workflows, business rules, and scripts

* Provide Service Now integration support with external systems and data sources

* Configure application User Interface (UI)

* Define data tables, user interfaces and add business logic in the Service Now application

* Customize Service Now applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and API

* Follow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering Service Now capabilities

* Implement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications in the Service Now platform

* Provide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development on the Service Now platform

Required Qualifications

* Active TS/SCI With Fullscope Poly Clearance is required

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

* 3+ years of experience with Service Now

* Service Now Certified Administrator Certification

* Creating and designing application tables within Service Now platform

* Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java or developmental language.

* Demonstrated experience using relational databases

* Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management

* Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

* Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Master's with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience Desired Qualifications

* Service Now Certified Application Developer Certification

* Customization of the Application UI and workflow

* Demonstrated experience with Service Now data models, capabilities, and relationships

* Demonstrated experience with the Service Now Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the Service Now Platform

* Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation

* Experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement Service Now solutions

* Ability to develop briefing slides

* Demonstrated experience with project management tools

* Development of reports according to ongoing customer needs

* Demonstrated experience formatting, layouts, coordinate complex text and graphics for management briefings
