We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Staff UX Designer to join our Design Team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Staff UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing exceptional user experiences for our cloud‑based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics solutions that empower accounting professionals worldwide.

Location:
This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King St E, Suite 1100, Toronto, ON.
- Own the end‑to‑end user experience for high‑impact projects
- Create user‑centered designs considering business requirements and user needs
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers on innovative solutions
- Champion design best practices and evolve our design system
- Stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies
- Maintain detailed design documentation
- Resolve customer‑impacting design issues
- Contribute to Caseware's product design strategy
- Assist in cross‑department design initiatives
- Participate in design critiques
- Mentor other designers and support their growth
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in UX design, ideally in SaaS or enterprise environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Experience conducting user research
- Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts through design
- Experience working in agile environments
- Understanding of responsive and cross‑platform design
- Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
- Design systems and Angular components
- User research and testing platforms
- Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence
