Position Overview:

Plateau GRP is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to support the a platform for a U.S. Air Force initiative. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, optimizing database performance, conducting security assessments, and researching emerging database technologies to enhance system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze solution designs to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and identify potential bottlenecks.

* Collaborate with developers to optimize database queries, tune configurations, and implement performance enhancements.

* Monitor database performance using appropriate tools, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions for scaling and data volume changes.

* Conduct code security assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

* Research and recommend new database features and technologies to improve system performance and architecture.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of experience required

* Bachelors degree

* One of the following: CASP+CE, CISSP, or CSSLP (IASE II)

* Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

* Experience with data modeling and security auditing.

* Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies.

* Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work collaboratively with development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
