Senior Payroll Specialist

Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of complex, multi-state payroll processing activities. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and experienced in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Process multi-state payroll for employees across various locations (5+ years required).
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll cycles while adhering to tight deadlines

• Review, audit, and reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and other payroll-related reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management teams to resolve payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support process improvements and payroll system optimizations.

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with Costpoint and UKG strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.

• Experience working in a government contracting or professional services environment.
