Speech Language Pathologist – Fairfax, VA – Achieve Beyond
Help children with special needs reach their goals as a Speech Language Pathologist at Achieve Beyond in Fairfax, VA. We provide pediatric therapy in homes, community, and clinic settings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality services across several eastern U.S. locations.
Responsibilities- Conduct developmental screening, assessment, and speech therapy services, and consult with family members and other professionals involved with the child.
- Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to encourage active participation and facilitate carry‑over in community settings.
- Provide services in clinic‑based settings.
- Follow the Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interpret goals and treatment plans for parents, making recommendations for further developmental assessments when needed.
- Participate in monthly agency staff meetings.
- Prepare progress reports at six‑month intervals and annual reviews.
- Maintain client records and submit them to the agency within established deadlines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of work.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- 1–2 years of experience working with children birth‑to‑21 (open to new graduates).
- Valid Virginia state license to practice Speech Therapy.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
- Ability to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle or using public transportation.
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases.
- Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
- Flexible work schedule.

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process. Sign‑on bonuses: $5,000 for full‑time positions; $2,000 for part‑time positions.
