Mammography Technologist – Float Pool | Northern Virginia | Weekdays Only | Sign-on Bonus

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a Mammography Technologist (Radiologic Technologist, ARRT RT[R]) to join our Float Pool team.

In this role, you’ll travel between our outpatient imaging centers in Northern Virginia to provide high-quality mammography and DXA services. Each day may look a little different, but your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise ensure every patient has a positive experience.

This is a full-time, benefitted position.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts, weekdays only
• No weekends, no holidays, no call
• Free on-site parking

• Independently perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Perform DXA bone density scans as needed
• Float between multiple outpatient diagnostic imaging centers in Northern Virginia
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction while acquiring high-quality images
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R])
• Virginia RT license required
• BLS certification required
• Mammography experience preferred; cross-training available in mammography and DXA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly while working across multiple outpatient imaging centers
