Physical Therapist Acute Care (PRN)

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join the team. This position is a PRN role with two weekend shifts a month plus required major/minor holidays. More shifts are available upon request. Must be able to train during the week.

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

• Education:
  
  Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• License:
  Physical Therapist upon start
• Experience:
  
  No experience needed
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association

• Experience working with the acute care adult population
