Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (“ACM”) is looking for a Mortgage Licensing Specialist to join our compliance team. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with mortgage industry licensing requirements and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a self‑motivated, strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality of periodic state‑specific reports and quarterly mortgage call reports
- Track deadlines for filings, renewals, and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors to ensure all loan originators’ annual continuing education requirements are met
- Assist with the onboarding of mortgage loan originators, including preparing the necessary requirements and filing NMLS applications
- Filing and maintaining company, branch, and individual MLO licensing documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ combined work experience in mortgage licensing and/or mortgage reporting
- Experience with Encompass/ICE loan origination system
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong research and critical thinking skills
- General knowledge of financial services and mortgage industry regulations, including SAFE Act, ECOA, and RESPA requirements
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
