Your impactWe are looking for an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities team focused on Life Sciences projects.
In this position you’ll have the chance to work on projects including the design of new structures as well as existing structural upgrades. With mentorship and guidance from our Professional Engineers and technical experts, you will grow to become an integral member of the design team, counted on to assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for our projects.
To be successful in this position you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as you work closely with your Structural Lead, Project Managers, Professional Engineers, and Designers across different disciplines. As part of this team, you will perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed, and learn to work with our Designers to get the structural requirements communicated on paper and in the model.
You will develop a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Structural Engineering, gaining experience in multiple subject areas, and learning how Structural design integrates with and impacts other disciplines. You will also develop an understanding of the principles of analysis and design of vertical and lateral structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Here’s what you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with a clear emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- This position is considered hybrid and will require you to work in the local office or project site a minimum of 2 days per week
- Internet service with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload as required to effectively meet project performance requirements (higher internet speed is recommended)
- MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
- Previous relevant internship experience in Structural Engineering, preferably with experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
- Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
