SIGINT Ground Systems Operator​/Analyst

We are looking for a SIGINT Ground Systems Operator/Analyst supporting a critical project. The candidate will provide technical expertise supporting the acquisition, development, deployment, and operation of systems (hardware and software). The candidate will work as part of an integrated team including U.S. Government employees, U.S. Military, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors.

• Provide technical and analytical support; develop and integrate signals intelligence related requirements into existing and/or planned systems, including size, weight, and power requirements for hosted U.S. Government platforms.
• Manage and operate program‑specific Signals Intelligence capabilities.
• Provide technical review of drawings, documents, design, manufacturing, integration, and test; give formal and informal feedback to the COTR, subject matter experts, and other customer personnel as required.
• Guide system/capability requirements through their full system lifecycle from definition, allocation, derivation, verification, validation, and deployment.
• Utilize software development tool suites to enable system capabilities.
• Author and update critical systems engineering products, including technical exchange summaries, requirements trace compliance products, and test and analysis reports.
• Proactively identify and assess emerging technical and programmatic risks at the system level and work with subcontractors to develop and evaluate mitigation approaches.
• Participate in and provide technical recommendations during design and program management reviews to assess maturity and requirements compliance, ensuring the overall approach satisfies the operational requirement of the integrated system.
• Use spectrum analyzers to measure the magnitude of an input signal versus frequency across the full frequency range; measure the power of the spectrum for known and unknown signals.
• Understand how frequency, amplitude, and modulation parameters behave over short and long intervals of time.

• Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of experience, Master’s with 15+ years, or Ph.D. with 10+ years.
• Experience with IC and/or DoD space and ground SIGINT architectures.
• Fundamental understanding of DoD/IC satellite architectures and their operational employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team‑building, and problem‑solving skills; demonstrated effectiveness in a government/contractor team environment.
• Extensive knowledge of space‑based signals intelligence.

• Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
• Courses related to Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Digital Signal Processing.
• Experience with space systems, SIGINT architecture, SIGINT payloads/hardware, SIGINT mission areas, SIGINT tasking, SIGINT signals/types, and collection management.
• Experience with tools and applications such as Vintage Harvest, Digital Viewer Tools, Waveform Viewer Tools, and Asynchronous Digital Signal Processor.
• Mission planning and analysis experience; experience working with developers on the operations and maintenance efforts of space systems.
• Test and Evaluation experience; advanced degree desired.
