GFT is seeking a Sr. Project Manager/Engineer, Electrical to join our Buildings and Places Business Group. In this role follows a hybrid work model at either of our New York, NY, Mechanicsburg, PA, Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Fairfax, VA, East Brunswick, NJ or Washington, DC offices.

You will be doing a combination of the design work as well as managing projects.

• Project Management of a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project.
• Interface with clients and owners.
• Writing project specifications.
• Managing project budgets.
• Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work.
• Design building and site lighting systems.
• Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
• Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
• Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy‑efficient design.
• Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
• Perform construction site visits and write field reports.

• Minimum of 15 years experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
