• We are looking for a camp coach with an athletic or coaching background who ideally has experience in summer camps or coaching kids ages 4‑9.
• Kid Strong Camp Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from a designed camp curriculum.
• Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding any incidents that take place during camp.
• Camps typically run when school is out, from 9 am – 2:30 pm (may vary depending on locations); the ideal candidate will be available during those hours.
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours & Kid Strong Class coaching – may require additional training.

• Camp sizes of up to 20 children, ages ranging from 4‑9.
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
• Ensure camp both starts and ends on schedule and follows the appropriate pace of curriculum.
• Greet students and parent(s)/guardian(s) as they arrive.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading camp.
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
• Keep an accurate record of attendance at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and floors – take out the trash, sweep and mop, wipe down equipment, and sanitize the mat at the end of a shift.
• Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.).
• Communicate professionally with co‑workers in Slack, the company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers.
• Complete training through Learn Upon as required by the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Work in a physically intensive environment – coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through camp, lift and repeatedly move equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Work hands‑on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety.
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by the Kid Strong Director.
• Obtain camp‑certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers while ensuring the well‑being of all children.

• Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑starter who just gets a job done.
