Job Description: Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Central Region seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in our Central Region with inpatient) t rounding at our debo Inova Fairfax Hospital. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at both locations.

The role involves high volume cardiology clinics, performing diagnostic studies, and ensuring continuity of care along with participation in academic activities.

Joining a team of 75 Cardiologists with a variety of clinical specialties, including heart failure/transplant, interventional cardiology, imaging, non-invasive cardiology, electrophysiology and interventional pulmonology. The team also includes 18 surgeons (6 cardiac surgeons and 2 pediatric cardiac surgeons), APP support, an academic culture with weekly conferences, teaching medical students and residents, and participation in clinical trials.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in Virginia.
• Experience: Successful completion of residency program.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
